    Mr. J. A. Anderson of St. Louis adjudicated this game drawn. Supporting his decision he gave seven variations of the draw.
    Mr. Stasch Mlotkowski of Camden, N. J. adjudicated it as a draw with the remark: "While White has the advantage there is no apparent winning line."
    Mr. N. T. Whitaker of Washington, D. C. says: "As the force is equal, and neither side has a positional advantage the adjudicator must call it a drawn [sic]."

    Mr. A. [sic] T. Adams is the first Champion of the first Tournament of the Michigan State Chess Association, which was organized through the untiring efforts of its Secretary Mr. A. H. Palmi, of Jackson, Mich.
