2008 Michigan Elementary / Primary Team
The kick-off to the scholastic championship season was held Febraury 2nd on campus at the Michigan State Union in Lansing. Organizer Jennifer Skidmore reports that 148 teams from 68 schools attended the Team event.
All indicators are that this tournament was a success. Attendance continues to grow, with more than 600 young participants this year. The event also attracted media attention - see these articles from the State News and Lansing Journal.
