2008 Michigan High School High Team
The 2008 HS Team Tournament was held at the Kettering University Student Center in Flint. Thirty-two teams representing 23 schools comprised the smallest high school team tournament in 6 years.
The championship section was won by Detroit Cass Tech who wiped out all competition with a 4 - 0 match score and 15.5 out of 16 game points. This is the 8th win for Cass Tech. En route to first place, Cass Tech defeated Battle Creek Math and Science (9th), Detroit MLK (5th), Okemos HS, and Birmingham Groves (6th).
The reserve section was won by Flint Kearsley C. This is the 11th win for Kearsley in the Reserve section, and their third consecutive title. They scored 3.5 match points, drawing with Ann Arbor Huron Green in round 2 and defeating Kearsley B in round 4.
