2007 Michigan Women's Championship
Ashley Carter is the 2007 Michigan Women's Champion. She topped the
field of 14 players with a perfect 4-0 score. Her path to glory
included wins over the veteran Connie Anderson Munson and the promising
talent Magdalena Matyszewska in the last round. Congratulations to
Ashley, who has now gained over 100 points since March. Kari Seitz won
the Reserve section, scoring a perfect 4-0 in the 11 players section.
Watch for Kari to compete with the big girls next year.
Representing the boys, Brendon Lee captured the Action Side Event,
racking up a perfect 3-0 score in the 10 player section.
All three events were held October 28 at the All the Kings Men in
Warren. Thanks to the Mandell's for hosting the event, once again, and
