INTENSIVE CHESS CAMP with IM BEN FINEGOLD
When: East Lansing: June 23-27
  Ann Arbor: August 4-8
  Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
Where: East Lansing: 314 Berkey Hall on the MSU campus
  Ann Arbor: West Side United Methodist Church 900 South Seventh Street
Who: ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A USCF RATING OF 750 OR HIGHER
(some exceptions may apply if the student has had good results in tournaments)
OPEN TO ALL AGES first grade through twelfth grade.
Teacher: Ben is Michigan's highest rated player and also one of the strongest players in the US. Ben tied for first in the 2002 World Open. Ben is the 2nd highest rated blitz player in the world, behind Kasparov, ahead of Karpov. Ben is very witty and loads of fun, but most important, he is an excellent teacher! YOUTH K-3 SUMMER CHESS CAMP
When: East Lansing: June 23-27
  Ann Arbor: August 4-8
  Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
Where: East Lansing: 314 Berkey Hall on the MSU campus
  Ann Arbor: West Side United Methodist Church 900 South Seventh Street
Who:

This camp is open to any child who will be in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade in the fall. Knowledge of how to play chess is not required but is recommended

Teacher: Ray Garrison has been organizing chess camps since 1998. He is the chess teacher for SEVEN Ann Arbor schools and those schools have won several state championships! Ray will also have qualified rated chess players with teaching experience on hand to help teach this camp.

YOUTH K-9 SUMMER CHESS CAMP
When: East Lansing: July 7-11
  Ann Arbor: June 30-July 4
  Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
Where: East Lansing: 314 Berkey Hall on the MSU campus
  Ann Arbor: West Side United Methodist Church 900 South Seventh Street
Who:

Open for all kids through 9th grade. All campers should know how to play chess.

Cost:
