Lindsay Chess Supplies, located in Ypsilanti near Ann Arbor, has the largest selection of chess books in Michigan. Its proprietor, Fred Lindsay, is one of Michigan’s strongest chessplayers. He is extremely knowledgable about the various books that he carries, and can steer a prospective customer in the proper direction to fulfill his chess needs. All The Kings Men chess emporium, owned and operated by Ed Mandell, is located in Warren at Universal Mall, at the southeast corner of Twelve Mile Road and Dequindre.
