• In February of this year former Michigan
resident Vas Rajlich attained his 3rd IM Norm with his results at Eger.
In personal correspondence with the MCA's Webmaster, Nick Pope, dated April
7, 2001, Vas stated that "I still need 40 FIDE rating points though before
I'm an IM - hopefully I'll get them this month." Vas also mentioned
that "the first Saturday events that I've been playing have a web page
where they post cross tables & games & photos."

SATURDAY Budapest website. Vas says "they keep it pretty
recent."
