| This month begins a new feature for Michigan Chess,
namely a quiz on tactics. Each set will have positions based on actual
games, and the group will have a common theme, which you will figure out
as you go along. But stating the theme at the start usually gives away
the answers! For this first edition, the primary theme is mate; the
secondary theme will become obvious. Please send in any corrections
or improvements you discover, as there may always be unexpected resources
