Directions:

The event is in downtown Petoskey, and the Carnegie Building is across from the Petoskey District Library on E Mitchel Street . Free parking is available on nearby side streets. The Carnegie building connects to the Crooked Tree Arts Center building via an atrium that has an outdoor plaza with tables and umbrellas on Mitchell Street. Enter the atrium doors and go to the 2nd floor. Skittles and restrooms are on the basement level.

Format:

4-round Swiss-style Open section (open to all, including UNR) and Reserve section (under 1200 or Unrated)

Time Control:

G45; d10. Each player has 45 minutes with a 10-second delay per move.

Rounds:

9:30am – 12:00pm – 2:30pm – 5:00pm

Entry Fee:

Adults: $10.00 (paid online by 6/19, 1pm) or $15.00 at on-site registration.
All proceeds go towards youth chess programs in Petoskey.
Juniors (ages 8 to 18): Free (Note: A discount will be applied for youth players (ages 8-18) during the online checkout process, bringing the entry fee down to $0.)

Registration:

Online registration is at https://onlineregistration.cc (scroll down to Petoskey District Library). Players may also register the day of the event (June 20) from 8:00am to 9:00am at the Carnegie Building. Registrations will not be accepted after 9:00am, so please arrive early enough to have your tournament entry processed. Credit card payments accepted.
