Better unrated players should join the U900 section, True beginners that are unrated should join the U500 section
Up to One Half-Point Bye Rounds 1-4. A Bye is a request to not play a round.
Must be a member of the US Chess Federation & Michigan Chess Association. (Members of other state associations OK)
Both Memberships can be purchased during online registration. Purchasing USCF through this system benefits MCA.

Advance entries must be paid by October 8. All entry fees paid after, add $15 more.
Top: $55 (U18 $5 off), Free entry to GM, IM, FM, & 2200+, adv entry fee deducted from prize.
U1900, U1700, U1500, U1300: $45 (U18 $5 off)
Playing up one section allowed with $15 play up fee.
